Communications Consultant
Self-Employed
January 2023 - Present
Providing Divisions of Family Practice across BC with strategic communication solutions, I enhance their digital presence, streamline stakeholder engagement, and equip teams with the tools to sustain long-term impact. As a consultant, I've led projects such as recruitment-focused websites, annual reports, and strategic communication plans. What sets me apart is my ability to speak the language of Divisions, align with Division priorities, and turn big-picture goals into clear, actionable communication.
Founder
Zenful Yoga
April 2022 - Present
Zenful Yoga is an eco-friendly yoga mat & yoga accessories business I founded in response to the lack of sustainable yoga products available on the market in Greater Vancouver. As a yoga practitioner myself, I wanted a yoga mat that was high quality but also sustainable, and most of the mats I was able to find were made from harmful TPE and PVC plastic/synthentic materials. Zenful Yoga is a business that supports an eco-friendly future. I believe that organizations need to step up to the plate when it comes to creating products that are both high-quality and environmentally friendly, and if a small business with tiny profit margins can do it, I think big corporations can too.
Strategic Engagement and Communications Advisor
Canadian Research Knowledge Network
May 2025 - May 2026
Led the development and execution of CRKN’s national engagement and communications strategy—designing member engagement initiatives, creating value-driven content, and supporting events like the CRKN Member Summit. Working across teams, I ensured all communications were strategic, collaborative, and aligned with CRKN’s mission to expand access to digital scholarly content and preserve Canada’s documentary heritage.
After 1 year with CRKN, we welcomed our daughter in June 2026. I am currently on maternity leave.
Strategic Engagement and Public
Awareness Manager
BC Public Service
October 2023 - April 2024
As the Strategic Engagement and Public Awareness Manager, I led province-wide efforts in public awareness, marketing, and communications focused on amplifying awareness of gambling-related harms and counselling supports. I spearheaded a province-wide campaign targeting priority populations through a public health harm-reduction approach. My role included overseeing provincial marketing strategies, contributing to initiatives for preventing and reducing gambling harms, and ensuring effective service delivery through skilled project management. With a focus on stakeholder relations, I cultivated collaborations to amplify the impact of our programs.
Program Coordinator
Fraser Northwest Division of Family Practice
Jun 2018 - January 2023
My primary role as Program Coordinator was to lead communications projects that support family doctors and healthcare system sustainability in the province of British Columbia.

Amid the Covid pandemic in 2021, I completed a $25k grant proposal to the Public Health Agency of Canada for our organization to undertake a large-scale vaccine awareness campaign. The campaign was a video series involving multiple stakeholders that ended up receiving over 1.3 million online impressions. Hundreds of organizations applied for the initial grant and dozens of organizations participated in the campaign; our campaign won the grand prize of $100,000 which allowed us to undertake another, larger-scale, campaign to support even more public health topics.
